Please note:

  1. Participating members are exempt from membership card fees.
  2. Age-related concessions, including those based on length of PZW membership, apply from 1 January 2018 on the basis of the PZW member’s registration card.

 

 

SCOPE AND RULES FOR THE APPLICATION OF DISCOUNTS AND EXEMPTIONS ON MEMBERSHIP FEES IN 2018

  1. Young people under the age of 14 who are not members of the PZW may fish free of charge in PZW waters, but only within the limits of their guardian’s fishing area and daily catch limit, and in their guardian’s presence.
  2. Young people under the age of 16 pay a union-wide membership fee for a participating member entitled to their own fishing ground, amounting to 25 per cent of the value of the membership fee stamp. The amount of the discount for a participating member on the contribution for the protection and management of waters is determined by the district boards within their respective areas of operation.
  3. Honorary members of the PZW, in accordance with § 15(2) of the PZW Statutes, are exempt from membership fees upon presentation of a card conferring the title of honorary member.
  4. PZW members aged 16–24 are entitled to a 50 per cent discount on their membership fee upon presentation of a valid school or student ID card.
  5. Discounts on membership fees in respect of PZW honorary badges, as set out in the table in Appendix 1, apply upon presentation of a card confirming the award of the badge or an entry to that effect in the membership card.
  6. The rules governing the application of reductions and exemptions from the water protection and management fee, and the rules for issuing recreational fishing permits to persons eligible for such reductions and exemptions, are adopted by the district management boards within their respective areas of operation.
  7. The system of concessions set out in Annex 1, points 2 and 3, applies throughout the year in which the specified age is reached.
