Additional fishing regulations applicable in the waters of the Trout and Grayling Region:
- In the waters of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), where artificial lures are permitted, spinning and fly fishing are permitted; however, fishing with artificial lures using a float and a lure weight is not permitted, nor is fishing using a sinker. This does not apply to fishing with permitted plant-based and animal-based (natural) bait in designated sections of rivers.

- On river sections where the float fishing method is permitted(plant and animal baits), it is prohibited to kill or remove salmonids and grayling (with the exception of rainbow trout and brook trout) caught on animal baits from the fishing grounds.
- Angling must be carried out without the use of methods that damage the fish’s external body covering.
- A ‘No Kill’ section means that it is prohibited to kill or take fish caught in that section of the river – this prohibition does not apply to rainbow trout, brown trout, perch or pike (subject to the closed season and minimum size limits). In ‘No kill’ sections, only barbless hooks and anchors may be used.
