Notice regarding the ban on recreational fishing
The Director of the Regional Water Management Authority of the State Water Management Enterprise ‘Wody Polskie’ in Gdańsk, pursuant to Article 263(3) and (4) in conjunction with Article 240(3)(12) of the Act of 20 July 2017 – Water Law (Journal of Laws of 2025, item 960, as amended), acting as the authority exercising the powers of the owner of waters in respect of inland fisheries in relation to inland flowing surface waters owned by the State Treasury,
hereby gives notice
that recreational fishing is prohibited from 13 May 2026 to 29 May 2026 inclusive,
on the following sections of rivers:
- in the Łeba River fishing district No. 4, covering the waters of the Łeba River from its outlet from the Słowiński National Park (downstream of Lake Łebsko) to a line running two metres from the northern edge of the road bridge connecting Sienkiewicza Street with Turystyczna Street in the town of Łeba, i.e. to the boundary between inland surface waters and internal maritime waters and territorial sea waters, as well as the waters of the tributaries to these waters,
- along the section of the Łupawa River – from the signs marking the boundary of the Słowiński National Park to the road bridge forming the boundary of the seaport in Rowy.
