
REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
FLY FISHING 2026
The Słupsk Regional Committee of the Polish Angling Association is organising the Regional Fly Fishing Championships on 10 May 2026 [Sunday]. The competition will take place on the Wieprza and Studnica rivers. Competitors are to assemble at the canoeing centre commonly known as ‘Mnich’, upstream from the village of Broczyna. The competition will be held in the individual category – seniors.
The entry fee must be paid by 4 May 2026 at the latest.
The entry fee of 80 zł must be paid into the account of the Słupsk Regional Organisation of the Polish Angling Association (ZO PZW Słupsk):

PLEASE NOTE: it will not be possible to pay the entry fee in cash on the day of the competition.
COMPETITION RULES
- The competition will be held using ‘live bait’.
- Flies must be tied on barbless hooks or hooks with the barbs removed.
- Each competitor must carry a landing net and a pen.
- There is no daily catch limit.
- All species of fish not subject to species protection or a closed season will count towards the score.
- A negative points system applies.
- Fishing will take place in two sectors in pairs: a competing angler + a judging angler.
- All details will be explained during the competitors’ briefing.
Competition area:
Sector A: The River Wieprza from the road bridge at Żarna to its confluence with the River Studnica.
Sector B: The Studnica River from the road bridge in Miastko on Szewska Street to its confluence
with the Wieprza River.
Fishing is prohibited for competition participants within these sectors from 2 May 2026 inclusive – under penalty of disqualification.

6:00 Registration of competitors
6.30 – 7.00 Opening of the competition and draw for pairs
8:00 – 11:00 First round of the competition
11:00–12:00 Return to base, submission of entry cards
13:30–16:30 Round 2 of the competition
18:00 Bonfire, close of the competition, announcement of results
