Is seeking an employee for the position of
Director of the PZW Słupsk Regional Management Board Office
Place of work: Słupsk
Responsibilities:
- implementing and enforcing resolutions of the Regional Executive Board and other bodies of the Polish Angling Association;
- managing and supervising the proper organisation of work at the PZW Regional Management Board Office;
- being responsible for carrying out accounting duties in accordance with the law, and, in conjunction with the Chief Accountant, drawing up the budget and substantive and financial reports;
- drafting correspondence, assigning it to the appropriate accounts and preparing replies in consultation with the Management Board;
- checking and signing financial and accounting documents;
- making independent purchases within the scope of the authorisation held;
- drafting proposed amendments to regulations;
- assisting in the preparation of documents for calls for tenders and competitive bidding processes;
- complying with data protection regulations;
- ongoing supervision to ensure the continuity of water leases within the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW);
- participating in meetings of governing bodies, committees, consultations, business meetings, as well as training sessions and conferences.
Requirements for candidates:
- education: secondary or higher – experience in a managerial or similar role; – 8 years’ work experience for those with secondary education, 5 years’ work experience required for those with higher education,
- ability to manage a team of several people;
- no criminal record for intentional offences;
- full legal capacity and full enjoyment of public rights;
- knowledge of the regulations and procedures relating to the activities of the Polish Angling Association (PZW);
- knowledge of legislation relating to environmental protection, angling and fisheries;
- the ability to secure external funding is desirable;
- personal aptitude and competence in team building as part of human resources management, strategic and operational planning, and coordination in the implementation of highly complex processes;
- the ability to make decisions and work under pressure, and a strong focus on achieving objectives;
- communication skills;
- availability and willingness to undertake business travel;
- very good computer skills, in particular proficiency in MS Office;
- a Category B driving licence.
