ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE PSTRĄGOWY CLUBS
‘HELP FOR MARCEL’ SPINNING COMPETITION
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association is organising a charity spinning trout competition to help cover the costs of Marcel Pietrykowski’s operation (an angler from our PAA district).
The competition will take place on 29 March 2026. The entry fee (of any amount), collected on site before the start of the competition, will be donated in full to help cover the costs of Marcel’s operation.
Please register your participation in the competition with Mr Jacek Dworak on 664 241 060 by 26 March 2026 to ensure we have enough meals available after the competition.
Competitors are to meet at the pergola in Łupawa on 29 March 2026 at 7.00 am. Each competitor must have a mobile phone with a camera, or a camera, to document their catch.
A competitor’s score will include brown trout and rainbow trout caught during the competition in the rivers Łupawa, Słupia and Wieprza (the choice of river is at the competitor’s discretion).
Further details will be explained by the Chief Judge during the briefing.
Competition schedule:
29 March 2026 (Sunday)
7.00 am – competitors’ meeting
7.00 – 7.20 am – competitor registration
7.20 – 7.40 am – competitors’ briefing
from 7.40 am – travel to the fishing venue
8.00 – start of fishing
13.00 – end of fishing
13.00 – 14.00 return to the meeting point and submission of catches
1.30 pm – 2.15 pm: meal for competitors
approx. 2.30 pm: announcement of competition results, presentation of trophies and certificates to the winners, end of the competition.
