Announcement regarding the District Individual Shore Fishing Championships
in the spinning discipline
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association is organising the District Individual Shore Fishing Championships in the spinning discipline on 12 April 2026 on the River Skotawa, comprising two rounds and two sectors. The competition in all other respects will be conducted in accordance with Part 6 of the PZW Regulations on Shore Spinning Angling (Part II – Trout). The preparation and running of the competition has been entrusted to the PZW Branch in Dębnica Kaszubska.
The competition will take place in two sectors:
Sector A – from the road bridge in Jamrzyn to the road bridge in Starniczki.
Sector B – from the road bridge in Starniczki to the mouth of the River Słupia.
Entries for the competition will be accepted by telephone on 59 843 63 41 until 7 April 2026 at 3.00 pm
The entry fee of 100 zł will only be accepted by bank transfer to the account of the Słupsk branch of the Polish Angling Association (ZO PZW) at BNP PARIBAS: 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001 by 7 April 2026.
Each competitor must have a mobile phone with a camera, or a camera, to document their catch. Brown trout, rainbow trout and sea trout caught during the competition will count towards a competitor’s result.
Meet on the day of the competition in the car park at Starniczki at 6.30 am.
Competition schedule
6.30 am – competitors gather, attendance check, competitors’ briefing
7.00 – 7.10 am draw for sectors
7.10 – 7.30 am walk (or drive) to the fishing ground
7.30 – 10.00 First round of the competition
10.00 – 10.20 Return to the judges’ stand
By 10.30: submission of caught fish
10.30 – 11.00 cake and coffee
11.00 – 11.30 walk (drive) to the fishing ground
11.30 – 14.00 second round of the competition
14.00 – 14.20 Return to the judges’ area
Until 14.30: Registration of caught fish
14.30 – 15.00: Lunch, tallying of results, issuing of certificates
Around 15.00: announcement of results, presentation of trophies, medals and certificates to the competition winners, conclusion of the competition.
