Outcome of the application for fishing waters and Christmas greetings
Saturday’s meeting of the Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), which took place on 20 December at the district’s headquarters, was the last meeting of the association’s leadership in 2025. The meeting was chaired by Mr Teodor Rudnik, Chairman of the Regional Board. Mr Jerzy Lubieniecki, Chairman of the Regional Sports Committee, attended as a guest. Following the approval of the agenda – which, due to the illness of the rapporteur, Mr Stanisław Szymański, did not include a summary of sporting activities in 2025 – the minutes of the previous District Board meeting were approved without comment.
The Regional Executive Committee focused on hearing a report on the Regional Organisation’s participation in tenders and competitions for water use in 2025, as well as a report from Mr Teodor Rudnik, Chairman of the Regional Organisation, on the policy pursued by Wody Polskie towards the Polish Angling Association (PZW) and other leaseholders. Overall, the District’s performance in this area can be considered in line with expectations; however, in several sub-districts, proceedings are still ongoing following the upholding of the PZW District Organisation’s objections as valid. The details of the agreements concluded will be discussed at the forthcoming regional council meetings.
Under ‘Any Other Business’, it was agreed that members in our district will pay a registration fee of 0.00 zł for all publicly accessible waters in 2026.
Ms Renata Sobków, Director of the Regional Organisation’s Office, reported that, in agreements with the club treasurers, in the interests of timely and accurate settlements, a clause has been introduced stipulating that failure to meet the deadline will result, at the request of the Regional Organisation Director and subject to approval by the Regional Organisation Chair, in the deduction of part of the allowance. This proposal was passed unanimously.
The composition of the examination board in Kępice was unanimously approved. Similarly, a resolution was passed unanimously to extend the lease agreement for the ponds in Siemianice and to sign the promissory notes required for this agreement.
The situation at the Regional Organisation’s office sparked a more extensive discussion, following the resignation of the chief accountant. Her resignation was accepted unanimously, whilst the duties arising from the need to finalise the district’s accounts at the end of the year were entrusted to Ms Renata Sobków.
At the conclusion of this part of the meeting, a report was heard on the stocking of the district’s waters to date, as well as on the proceedings of the general reporting and election meetings.
After the break, Mr Teodor Rudnik extended his best wishes to the meeting participants – and, through them, to the members of our District, the authorities and bodies of the local fishing clubs, as well as to the local authorities and councillors of towns and municipalities cooperating with the Polish Angling Association (PZW), school management and teaching staff, parents and sponsors, wishing them a healthy, family-filled and fishing-filled Christmas and every success in the New Year 2026.
