The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association announces the implementation of the project entitled:
The preparation of fisheries management plans for the waters managed by the Słupsk Regional Board of the Polish Angling Association, together with the obtaining of a favourable opinion on these plans.
The aim of the project is:
To strengthen fishing activities that are sustainable in economic, social and environmental terms.
Tasks and activities to be carried out as part of the project:
- drafting 17 fisheries management plans
The operation will be carried out during the period:
- from 1 March 2024 to 30 June 2025.
Target groups:
- The target group for the project is the District Management Board of the Polish Angling Association, which is authorised to carry out fishing activities and performs its statutory duties relating to inland fishing
Description and outcomes of the operation:
The aim of the project is for a member of staff at the Regional Board Office of the Polish Angling Association in Słupsk to draw up fisheries management plans, the validity of which expires in 2024 and early 2025, for waters utilised under agreements by the Regional Board of the Polish Angling Association in Słupsk, together with the obtaining of a favourable opinion on these plans issued by the bodyauthorised to issue opinions on fishing management plans pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation of 15 September 2020 on fishing management plans, namely the Stanisław Sakowicz Institute of Inland Fisheries in Olsztyn. Only after a favourable opinion has been issued on the fisheries management plan may we, as a body authorised to carry out fishing activities, manage fisheries in a given fishing district.
The planned outcomes and results include the preparation of fisheries management plans to fulfil statutory tasks relating to inland fisheries, such as the management of State Treasury waters.
The value of the eligible costs of the operation is 19,650.66 PLN
A grant of 9,825.33 PLN was obtained under the ‘Human Capital’ measure within Priority 1. Supporting sustainable fisheries and the restoration and conservation of living aquatic resources under the European Fisheries Fund programme for 2021–2027, with European Union co-financing under the EMFF amounting to 6,877.73 PLN.
