The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association
Is seeking an employee for the position of
Chief Accountant
Place of work: Słupsk
Responsibilities:
- Managing the association’s full accounting functions,
- Preparing the association’s financial statements in accordance with Polish Accounting Standards and the provisions of accounting law,
- Preparing tax returns – VAT7-JPK, CIT, PIT and local taxes,
- Calculating social security contributions (ZUS), settling accounts with ZUS and paying sickness benefits,
- Liaising and cooperating with external institutions – the Tax Office (US), the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), the Central Statistical Office (GUS) and banks,
- Preparing the association’s budget and ensuring it is implemented correctly,
- Conducting training sessions and conferences for the PZW’s regional field units,
- Calculating salaries, preparing payrolls and registering employees for social security,
- Managing HR matters.
Requirements for candidates:
- At least a secondary education in a relevant field – economics, finance or accountancy – with a minimum of 8 years’ professional experience; for those with a higher education qualification, 5 years’ professional experience is required,
- Very good knowledge of tax and accounting matters,
- Proficiency in IT tools (including Comarch ERP Optima, Płatnik and the MS Office suite),
- Good organisational skills,
- Responsibility, reliability and commitment,
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
