The PZW invites members of all clubs to a float fishing competition, which will take place at ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk on Sunday 31 August 2025.
The organiser will provide: a challenge cup for the winning team, cups for the team winners, certificates, and a meal and drinks for all participants.
The competition will be held in a single round in a team format (one team per fishing spot). The ‘Staw Łabędzi’ fishing ground has a depth ranging from approx. 1 m to approx. 2 m. Fish counted towards the competition: bream, silver bream, tench, crucian carp, bleak, roach, rudd, ide, chub, carp, perch, pike, eel and zander.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Słupsk Regional Branch of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), at ‘Staw Łabędzi’, there is a limit on the amount of prepared groundbait to 6 litres per 4-hour session, including a maximum of 3 litres of soil or clay. As the fishing session will last more than 4 hours, the groundbait limit is increased to 8 litres per competitor, including a maximum of 4 litres of soil or clay.
Entries for teams of two should be made at the PZW Regional Office or by telephone on /059/ 8436341. As the number of fishing spots is limited to 15, the first 15 teams to register will take part in the competition in the order in which they registered; the next 3 teams will be placed on the reserve list. Should a team wish to withdraw from the competition, they must notify the organiser no later than 3 days before the competition.
The entry fee of 150 PLN per team must be paid into the ZO PZW account: BNP PARIBAS Bank, account number 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001, by theno later than 25 August 2025.
PLEASE NOTE: Cash payments are not accepted, either at the ZO PZW office in Słupsk or at the competition venue. If a PZW Branch is paying the entry fee on behalf of its competitors, the transfer must be made from the Branch’s bank account, or the PZW Branch must be specified as the payer in the transfer instructions.
