Announcement regarding the social feeder fishing competition.
“Gniewino Feeder Competition”
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), together with the PZW “Słupia” branch and the “Słupsk Miasto’ branch announce that on 24 August 2025 they are organising a friendly feeder fishing competition at the “Gniewino” fishing ground in Gniewino. The competition will be held as an individual event using the ‘method feeder’ format
Eligibility to take part is restricted to members of PZW branches within the Słupsk District. The number of competitors is limited to 30. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register by calling 59 843 63 41 by 20 August 2025.
The entry fee of 100 zł per competitor must be paid by 20 August 2025 to the BNP PARIBAS bank account 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001.Cash payments are not accepted, either at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk or at the competition venue. If a PZW Branch is paying the entry fee on behalf of its competitors, the transfer must be made from the Branch’s bank account or the PZW Branch must be specified as the payer in the transfer instructions.
An additional fee of 40 zł per fishing ground must be paid to the owner on site before the competition begins. The entry fee covers: prizes for the winners, a meal for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs.
Gniewino fishing ground: water depth ranges from 1.80 to 3 m. Fish eligible for the competition are: carp, tench, crucian carp and grass carp.
Competition rules – the competition will be held as an individual event in a single round lasting 6 hours, in accordance with the regulations for the ‘method feeder’ format and the ‘Amateur Fishing Regulations’. The minimum length of the keepnet for holding caught fish is 3 metres. It is advisable to have two or more keepnets; the limit per keepnet is 35 kg. Barbless hooks are compulsory at the fishery, and the use of braided lines is prohibited. The fishery regulations are available on Facebook. Fishing with one rod is permitted.
The competition counts towards the 2025 Grand Prix standings.
Competitors are to assemble on 24 August 2025 at 6.00 am by the shelter at the Gniewino fishing ground.
