Announcement regarding the District Float Fishing Championships in the following categories:
Juniors (U20) – aged 16 to 20, Cadets (U15) – aged 15 and over, Women – aged 16 and over,
veterans 65+ – aged 65 and over, and veterans 55+ – aged 55 to 64
The Management Board of the Słupsk Regional Branch of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) announces that the Słupsk Regional Float Fishing Championships will take place on 17–18 May 2025 in the following categories: women, U20 juniors and U15 cadets, as well as 55+ and 65+ veterans. The competition will take place at ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk. The current Club Champions in each category are eligible to compete in the District Championships
PLEASE NOTE! For the competition to go ahead in each category, at least five competitors must be registered in that category. If there are fewer entries, that category will not be contested. Due to the limited number of fishing spots (30) at “Staw Łabędzi”, entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis!
The competition will be held according to the schedule set out below in the individual classification for each category, in accordance with the fishery regulations and the ‘Regulations for Amateur Fishing’. The minimum length of the keepnet for holding caught fish is 3.5 metres. A limit of 6 litres of groundbait per session (prepared groundbait) per person applies at the fishery.
Competitors must register by calling 59 843 63 41 by 12 May 2025.
The entry fee of 150 zł per competitor must be paid by 12 May 2025 (Monday) to the BNP PARIBAS bank account 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001.
PLEASE NOTE: Cash payments are not accepted, either at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk or at the competition venue. Where a PZW Branch is paying the entry fee on behalf of its competitors, the transfer must be made from the Branch’s bank account or the Branch must be specified as the payer in the transfer instructions.
The entry fee covers: medals, trophies, certificates, meals for competitors after each round of the competition, judges’ fees and other organisational costs.
Competitors are to assemble on 17 May 2025 at 6.00 am next to the fountain at ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
