Announcement regarding the social feeder fishing competition.
“Big Game” Feeder Competition
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), together with the PZW ‘Słupia’ branch and the ‘Słupsk Miasto’ branch announce that on 25 May 2025 they are organising a friendly feeder competition at the ‘Big Game’ fishing ground in Glewnik. The competition will be held in the individual category using the ‘method feeder’ format
Membership of a PZW branch within the Słupsk District is required to enter. The number of competitors is limited to 30. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to competitors taking part in the Grand Prix classification who competed in the 2025 Season Opener. These competitors must register by calling 59 843 63 41 by 15 May 2025. Other interested parties may register between 16 and 20 May 2025.
The entry fee of 100 zł per competitor must be paid by 20 May 2025 (Tuesday) to the BNP PARIBAS bank account 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001. An additional fee of 35 zł per fishing spot must be paid to the owner on site before the competition begins. The entry fee covers: prizes for the winners, a meal for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs.
The ‘Big Game’ fishing ground in Glewnik. Water depth up to 2.5 m. Fish eligible for the competition are: carp, tench, crucian carp, bream, grass carp and sturgeon.
Competition rules – the competition will be held as an individual event in a single 6-hour round, in accordance with the regulations for the ‘method feeder’ format and the ‘Amateur Fishing Regulations’. The minimum length of the keepnet for holding caught fish is 3.5 m. It is advisable to have more than one keepnet; the limit per keepnet is 35 kg. Barbless hooks are compulsory at the fishery, and the use of braided lines is prohibited. The Big Game fishery regulations are available on Facebook. Fishing with one rod is permitted.
The competition counts towards the 2025 Grand Prix standings.
Competitors are to assemble on 25 May 2025 at 6.00 am by the shelter at the Big Game fishing ground.
