Announcement regarding the friendly competition
‘Start of the float fishing season’
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) announces that on 27 April 2025 it is organising a friendly competition at “Staw Łabędzi” in Słupsk, entitled “Start of the float fishing season”. The competition will be held in an individual category.
Members of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) clubs within the Słupsk District are eligible to take part. The number of competitors is limited to 30. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Competitors must register by calling 59 843 63 41 by 22 April 2025.
The entry fee of 80 zł per competitor must be paid by 22 April 2024 (Tuesday) to the BNP PARIBAS bank account 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001 (payments will not be accepted at the Regional Organisation’s office or at the competition venue). If a PZW Branch is paying the entry fee on behalf of its competitors, the transfer must be made from the Branch’s bank account or the Branch must be specified as the payer in the transfer instructions. The entry fee covers: prizes for the winners (vouchers), a meal for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs.

Competition rules – the competition will be held in an individual classification in accordance with the fishing ground regulations and the ‘Regulations for Amateur Fishing’.
The minimum length of the keepnet for holding caught fish is 3.5 m. A bait limit of 6 litres per session (prepared bait) per person applies at the fishing ground.
Competitors are to assemble on 27 April 2025 at 7.00 am next to the fountain at “Swan Pond” in Słupsk.

7.00 – 7.20 registration of competitors
7.20 – 7.30 draw
7.30 – 7.40 opening of the competition
7.40 – 8.00 moving to the fishing stations
8.00 – 9.30 preparing for fishing
9.20 – 9.30 baiting
9.30 – 13.30 fishing
13.30 – 14.00 weighing of fish at the fishing stations
13.45 – 14.15 lunch and judging panel deliberations
- 14.15 announcement of results and prize-giving.
