47th Polish Fly-Fishing Championships
ŁUPAWA, 17–20 October 2024
ANNOUNCEMENT No. 2
We would like to inform you that, following the closure of the registration list, we have begun work on designating sectors and fishing positions. Due to the difficult situation regarding fish stocks in certain sections of the Łupawa River, we have decided to make adjustments to Sector A and Sector C. The competition area and the practice fishing ground are currently defined as follows:
SECTORS
SECTOR A: from 50 m downstream of the power station in Łupawa to 50 m upstream of the weir in Łebień
SECTOR B: from 50 m downstream of the weir in Łebień to the road bridge in Damno
SECTOR C: from approx. 500 m downstream of the road bridge in Damno to the ruins of the weir in Zgojewo.
Training fishing area:
– from the fish farming ponds in Kozin to 50 metres before the weir in Łupawa.
During training, a valid licence for the trout and grayling (highland) waters of the Słupsk district of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) is required. The section of the Łupawa River stretching from the power station in Łupawa to the ruins of the weir in Zgojewo, from 11 October 2024 to 17 October 2024, is closed to fishing for those taking part in the competition (competitors, coaches, team managers) – failure to comply will result in disqualification from the competition. Below is the updated Competition Programme:

– 16:00 – 18:00 – team check-in and registration
– 19.00 – official opening of the Polish Championships
– 20.00 – team briefing and draw
18 October 2024 (Friday) – ROUND I
– 09.00 – 09.30 – collection of scorecards, memory cards and measuring tapes
– 09.30 – 10.30 – transport of competitors and judges to their stations
– 10.30 – 11.00 – preparation for the competition
– 11.00 – 12.30 – first part of Round I of the competition
[15 mins’ break]
– 12.45 – 14.15 – second part of Round I of the competition
– 14.15 – 15.45 – competitors return to base
– 15.45 – 16.45 – meal
– 19.30 – announcement of results after the first round
19 October 2024 (Saturday) – ROUND II
– 9.00 – 9.30 – collection of cards, memory cards and measuring tapes
– 9.30 – 10.30 – competitors and judges travel to their stations
– 10.30 – 11.00 – preparation for the competition
– 11.00 – 12.30 – first part of Round II of the competition

– 12.45 – 14.15 – second part of Round II of the competition
– 14.15 – 15.45 – competitors return to base
– 15.45 – 16.45 – meal
– 19.30 – announcement of results after the first round
20 October 2024 (Sunday) – ROUND III!!! THE ROUND STARTS 1 HOUR EARLIER!!!
– 8.00 – 8.30 – collection of cards, memory cards and measuring tapes
– 8.30 – 9.30 – transport of competitors and judges to their stations
– 9.30 – 10.00 – preparation for the competition
– 10.00 – 11.30 – first part of Round III of the competition

– 11.45 – 13.15 – second part of Round III of the competition
– 1.15 pm – 2.45 pm – competitors return to base
– 2.45 pm – 3.45 pm – meal
– 3.45 pm – announcement of results after Round Three
– 16.15 – official competition results, prize-giving ceremony, close of the competition
