ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE PZW SŁUPSK DISTRICT FLOAT FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE 55+ VETERANS CATEGORY
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) is pleased to announce that on 13 July 2024 and 3 August 2024, the District Float Fishing Championships in the 55+ veterans’ category will take place at ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
Eligible to compete are: members of the Słupsk Regional Branch of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) aged 55 and over.
The deadline for registering to take part in the competition is 8 July 2024 at 3.00 pm; registrations will not be accepted after this deadline.
Please note! For the competition to go ahead, at least 10 competitors must have registered. For this reason, when registering, please provide a telephone number to which, on 8 July 2024, you will be informed whether a sufficient number of people have registered for the competition to go ahead.
The entry fee of 150 PLN per competitor must be paid by 9 July 2024 to the BNP PARIBAS bank account 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001 PLEASE NOTE: Cash payments are not accepted, either at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk or at the competition venue. If a PZW Branch is paying the entry fee on behalf of its competitors, the transfer must be made from the Branch’s bank account, or the PZW Branch must be specified as the payer in the transfer instructions. The entry fee covers: trophies, medals and certificates, two meals for competitors, vouchers, judges’ fees and other organisational costs. Competitors who have not paid their current membership fee to the Słupsk District will not be permitted to take part in the competition.
Fishing venue – ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
Please note! At “Staw Łabędzi”, bait is limited to six litres per four-hour session, including a maximum of 3 litres of soil or clay.
Competition rules – the competition will be held using live bait, in accordance with
the “Regulations for Amateur Fishing” and, in part, in accordance with the “Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport within the Polish Angling Association (PZW)” in the individual classification (Discrepancies relate to the inability to provide judges to conduct the unofficial practice session on Thursday and the official practice session on Friday preceding the competition, as well as the quantity of groundbait used. On weekdays, ‘Staw Łabędzi’ is not open to the general public for angling, and on Saturdays and Sundays, angling is only permitted as part of organised competitions).
