A working meeting and Christmas gathering with best wishes for the coming year
On 9 December 2023, the District Management Board held a meeting at the headquarters of the Słupsk District Organisation of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), chaired by Mr Teodor Rudnik, President of the District Organisation. The meeting was attended by: the Chairman of the Regional Committee, Mr Marian Zabłocki; the Chairman of the General Supervisory Committee, Mr Jerzy Lubieński; and a member of the PZW Central Executive Committee, Mr Zbigniew Adkonis.
During the working part of the meeting, following the adoption of the agenda and the minutes of the previous meeting, the District’s work plan for the first half of 2024 was approved. Following a discussion, it was agreed that an assessment of the state of water management and the stocking plan should be carried out at the first meeting. The programme of events and sporting competitions at Stawek Łabędzi in Słupsk was approved, recognising the priority of float fishing competitions and acknowledging the right of the clubs responsible for maintaining the pond area – Plasmet and Kapena – to organise events.
Following an analysis of the work carried out in relation to water management, it was agreed to introduce limits on overtime for staff employed on stocking operations.
Under ‘Any Other Business’, the conditions for access to the district’s archives were agreed upon, with a view to preparing a monograph on the PZW club in Sławno, as well as making preparations for the compilation of a monograph on the PZW District in connection with the District’s upcoming 50th anniversary.
The schedule for the annual general meetings in the local branches was also reviewed, along with the delegations for representatives of the PZW Regional Organisation.
Following the conclusion of the working part of the meeting, Mr Teodor Rudnik extended heartfelt Christmas and New Year’s wishes to the members and guests of the Regional Organisation’s meeting, focusing on prosperity for the Polish Angling Association, and for the members of our association in their efforts to maintain the health of our waters and fish stocks.
The PZW Regional Organisation meeting was then adjourned.
