Notice regarding the fishing of sea trout and brown trout in the waters of the Słupsk District on
31 December 2023.
We would like to remind you that in fishing areas S-9 (the River Słupia, No. 9) and S-12 (the River Skotawa, No. 2), a conservation zone is in force along their entire length from 1 October to 31 December; consequently,
31 December 2023, there will be a total ban on angling in these areas.
No closed seasons have been established on the Łupawa and Łeba rivers. The closed season is shortened by one public holiday (Sunday); therefore, fishing for sea trout and brown trout on these two rivers is permitted on 31 December 2023. In view of the above, the following amendments are made to the regulations forming part of the 2023 fishing licence:
S-2 – the Łupawa River No. 3:
– from the remains of the old weir in Zgojewo to the hydroelectric power station in Żelkowo – spinning and fly fishing are permitted. Spinning is prohibited from 2 October to 30 December.
– from the hydroelectric power station in Żelkowo to the boundary of the Słowiński National Park – permitted methods: spin fishing and fly fishing. Spin fishing is prohibited from 2 October to 30 December.
S-3 – the Łupawa River, No. 4:
– from the boundary of the Słowiński National Park to the hydroelectric power station in Smołdzino – permitted methods: spin fishing and fly fishing. Fishing is prohibited from 2 October to 30 December.
– from the hydroelectric power station in Smołdzino to the weir in Człuchy – permitted methods: spin fishing and fly fishing. From 1 April to 1 October, all lures and methods are permitted. Fishing is prohibited from 2 October to 30 December.
– from the weir at Człuchy to the boundaries of the Słowiński National Park (concrete bridge on the Gardna Wielka–Suche Łąki route) – all lures and methods permitted. From 2 October to 30 December, spin fishing is prohibited.
S-6 – River Łeba No. 3
– from the bridge on Al. Wolności in Lębork to the mouth of the Białogardzka Struga watercourse in Gęś – spinning and fly fishing permitted. Spinning is prohibited from 2 October to 30 December.
– downstream from the mouth of the Białogardzka Struga watercourse in Gęś to the boundary of the Słowiński National Park, permitted methods: spin fishing and fly fishing. From 1 March to 1 October, all lures and methods are permitted. From 2 October to 30 December – spinning is prohibited.
The remainder of the regulations forming part of the 2023 licence remain unchanged, which means that fishing for sea trout and brown trout in other waters classified as part of the trout
and grayling region (not listed above) is permitted on 31 December 2023 using the fly-fishing method.
Furthermore, we would like to inform you that on 31 December 2023, annual permits issued for 2023, as well as those issued for 2024, will be valid in the waters of our District.
