ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE PZW SŁUPSK DISTRICT FLOAT FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE SENIOR CATEGORY
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) is pleased to announce that on 1–2July 2023, the District Float Fishing Championships in the senior category will take place at ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
- Eligible to compete are: last year’s District champion, Club champions and members of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW).
- The deadline for entries is 23 June 2023; entries will not be accepted after this date.
Please note! There is a limited number of fishing spots (up to 30) at ‘Staw Łabędzi’; for this reason, only entries from Club Champions will be accepted until 20 June 2023, whilst other competitors may register between 21 and 23 June 2023; participation in the competition will be determined by the order in which registrations are received.
- The entry fee of 120 zł per competitor must be paid by 23 June 2023 to the BNP PARIBAS bank account 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001. PLEASE NOTE: Cash payments are not accepted, either at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk or at the competition venue. If a PZW Branch is paying the entry fee on behalf of its competitors, the transfer must be made from the Branch’s bank account, or the PZW Branch must be specified as the payer in the transfer instructions. The entry fee covers: trophies, medals and certificates, two meals for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs. Competitors are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and other meals.
- Fishing venue – ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
Please note! At “Staw Łabędzi”, bait is limited to three litres per four-hour session.
- Competition rules – the competition will be held using live bait, in accordance with
the “Regulations for Amateur Fishing” and, in part, in accordance with the “Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport within the Polish Angling Association (PZW)” in the individual classification. (The discrepancies relate to the inability to provide judges to conduct the unofficial practice session on Thursday and the official practice session on Friday preceding the competition, as well as the amount of groundbait used. On weekdays, ‘Staw Łabędzi’ is not open to the general public for angling, and on Saturdays and Sundays, angling is only permitted as part of organised competitions). - Meeting point – the square by the fountain next to ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
