ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE PZW SŁUPSK DISTRICT FLOAT FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS
IN THE 55+ AND 65+ VETERANS’ CATEGORIES
The Management Board of the PZW Słupsk District is pleased to announce that from 17 to 24 June 2023, the District Float Fishing Championships in the 55+ and 65+ veterans’ categories will take place at ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
- Eligible to compete are: members of the Słupsk PZW District aged 55+ and 65+ (a maximum of three people per club).
- The deadline for registering to take part in the competition is 13 June 2023 at 3.00 pm; registrations will not be accepted after this deadline.
Please note! For the competition to take place, at least 10 competitors from both categories must be registered. For this reason, when registering, please provide a telephone number to which a call will be made on 13 June 2023 to inform you whether a sufficient number of participants have registered for the competition to go ahead.
- The entry fee of 120 PLN per competitor must be paid by 13 June 2023 to the BNP PARIBAS bank account number 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001. PLEASE NOTE: Cash payments are not accepted, either at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk or at the competition venue. If a PZW Branch is paying the entry fee on behalf of its competitors, the transfer must be made from the Branch’s bank account, or the PZW Branch must be specified as the payer in the transfer instructions. The entry fee covers: trophies, medals and certificates, two meals for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs. The winner of the 55+ and 65+ veterans’ categories is entitled to compete in the Polish Championships in their respective categories (with the entry fee covered by the Słupsk Regional Branch of the Polish Angling Association); the winner of the remaining category is entitled to compete in the Polish Championships in their category at their own expense.
- Fishing venue – ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
Please note! At ‘Staw Łabędzi’, there is a limit of three litres of groundbait per four-hour session.
- Competition rules – the competition will be held using live bait, in accordance with
the “Regulations for Amateur Fishing” and, in part, in accordance with the “Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport within the PZW” in the individual classification (The discrepancies relate to the inability to provide judges to conduct the unofficial practice session on Thursday and the official practice session on Friday preceding the competition. - Meeting point – the square by the fountain next to ‘Swan Pond’ in Słupsk.
