The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association
is seeking an employee for the position of
Senior Pond and Hatchery Fisherman
Place of work: Fish Stocking Centre in Damnica
Duties:
- Carrying out tasks related to fish rearing and breeding,
- Ensuring the proper functioning of pond equipment and facilities, including: maintaining the required water level in the inlet channel and ponds, cleaning, carrying out routine repairs, maintenance and disinfection of the facility,
- Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness on the premises of the Fish Stocking Centre,
- Participating in management and breeding operations in the District’s waters in accordance with applicable instructions and regulations in this regard, with particular emphasis on stocking and harvesting operations.
Requirements for candidates:
- minimum vocational qualification
- availability;
- Category B driving licence
- ability to work in difficult conditions and under time pressure, and resilience to stress;
- ability to organise a team and work as part of a team;
Desirable:
- secondary education
- experience in fish farming or in work related to the fishing industry or environmental protection;
- active involvement in angling;
