PZW SŁUPSK DISTRICT FLOAT FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE SENIOR AND SENIOR 55+ CATEGORIES
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), as the organiser of the PZW Słupsk District Float Fishing Championships in the senior and senior 55+ categories on the River Łeba (within the SPN area), has undertaken to strictly enforce the ban on the use of plant-based baits and groundbait.
- The use of clay mixed with an attractant and bentonite is permitted (flour, for example, must not be used as a substitute for bentonite);
- the use of 17 litres of clay with bentonite and attractant, 250 g of hookworm, 0.5 kg of Joker, 0.5 kg of red dendroben worm, and the remainder up to the permitted limit of 2.5 kg of caster, pinka, white and coloured worms,
- a fish-holding net of at least 3.5 m and a fish pusher.
During the judges’ inspection of groundbait, bait and the competitor’s entire fishing station, if it is found that a competitor is in possession of plant-based groundbait or bait, they will be penalised with penalty points and the confiscation of all groundbait, including permitted clay and attractants.
Inspections may be carried out by the SPN security staff together with the judging panel during the competition. If the possession of plant-based bait or groundbait is detected, the SPN security staff will issue an individual fine to the competitor in question, and the competitor will be disqualified by the judging panel. Competitors may also be inspected during the competition by the judging panel itself, in order to verify that plant-based baits and groundbait are not being used, without the presence of SPN rangers.
Permission to organise the above competition within the Słowiński National Park has been granted on condition that the above regulations are observed. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the Słowiński National Park refusing to grant permission to organise the competition in future years.
In view of the above, we ask that you comply with the provisions set out in the permit issued by the Słowiński National Park.
