ANNOUNCEMENT
‘ŁUPAWA 2022’ DISTRICT FLY-FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association is organising the District Fly Fishing Championships on 19 June 2022 [Sunday]. The competition will take place on the River Łupawa. Competitors are to assemble in the car park in the village of Łupawa. The competition will be held in the Individual – Seniors category, as well as in the Individual – Juniors category.

PLEASE NOTE: it will not be possible to pay the entry fee in cash on the day of the competition.
COMPETITION RULES:
- The competition will be held using ‘live bait’.
- Flies must be tied on barbless hooks or hooks with the barbs removed.
- Each competitor must carry a landing net and a pen.
- There is no daily catch limit.
- All fish species not subject to species protection or a closed season will count towards the score.
- A negative points system applies.
- Fishing will take place in pairs: a competing angler and a judging angler.
- All details will be explained during the competitors’ briefing.
Competition area:
Sector A: The Łupawa River from the road bridge in Podkomorzyce to the road bridge in the village of Łupawa.
Sector B: The Łupawa River from the road bridge on the Słupsk–Gdańsk route in Żochowo to 50 metres before the weir in Łebień.
