
ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE PZW SŁUPSK DISTRICT FLOAT FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE SENIOR AND SENIOR 55+ CATEGORIES
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) is pleased to announce that on 25–26 June 2022, the District Float Fishing Championships in the senior and senior 55+ categories will take place in Łeba.
- Eligible to compete are: last year’s District champion, the champions of the Local Branches and Clubs – members of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) – in teams of 3comprising two seniors and one senior aged 55+, with a limit of no more than two teams per PZW Circle.
- The deadline for registering to take part in the competition is 8 June 2022; registrations will not be accepted after this date.
- The entry fee of 120 zł per competitor must be paid by 8 June 2022 at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk, or to the BNP PARIBAS bank account 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001. The entry fee covers: trophies, medals and certificates, two meals for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs. Competitors are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and other meals.
- Fishing ground – the Łeba River canal in Łeba (within the SPN grounds) – the fishing ground may be subject to change.
- Competition rules – the competition will be held using live bait, in accordance with the ‘Regulations for Amateur Fishing’ and partly in accordance with the ‘Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport within the PZW’ (the use of plant-based groundbait is prohibited) in both the individual and team classifications (teams of three). (Discrepancies relate to the inability to provide judges for the unofficial practice session on Thursday and the official practice session on Friday preceding the competition, as well as the use of plant-based groundbait). Competitors who wish to train in the days leading up to the competition are required to pay the fishing fee for the relevant day to the Słowiński National Park – the body responsible for the section of the River Łeba where the competition will take place.
- Meeting point – the Łeba River Canal – the clearing by the boundary of the Słowiński National Park.
