ANNOUNCEMENT
2021 REGIONAL FLY-FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association is organising the District Fly Fishing Championships on 20 June 2021 [Sunday]. The competition will take place on the Łupawa River. Competitors are to assemble in the car park in Strzyżyno. The competition will be held in the Individual – Seniors category and the Individual – Juniors category.
Please pay the entry fee of 25 zł by 14 June2021 to the account of the Słupsk Regional Branch of the Polish Angling Association (ZO PZW Słupsk) at BNP PARIBAS, account no. 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001, or in cash at the cash desk of the Słupsk Regional Branch of the Polish Angling Association (ZO PZW Słupsk).
PLEASE NOTE: It will not be possible to pay the entry fee in cash on the day of the competition.
COMPETITION RULES
- The competition will be held using ‘live bait’.
- Flies must be tied on barbless hooks or hooks with the barbs removed.
- Each competitor must carry a landing net and a pen.
- There is no daily catch limit.
- All species of fish not subject to species protection or a closed season will count towards the score.
- A negative points system applies.
- Fishing will take place in pairs: one competitor fishing alongside one judge.
- Further details will be explained at the competitors’ briefing.
Competition area.
Sector A. The Łupawa River from 50 m downstream of the power station in Łupawa to 50 m upstream of the Łebień power station.
Sector B. The Łupawa River from the mill in Damno [lower boundary of the competition area] to the ruins of the weir in Zgojewo.
