7th Słupsk District PZW Carp Fishing Championships
Potęgowo, Lake Darżyńskie, 10–13 June 2021

1. The competition is organised by the PZW Potęgowo Branch on behalf of the PZW Słupsk District. The competition serves as a qualifier for the 2021 Polish Carp Angling Championships. The selection of the team to participate in the Polish Championships is conducted in accordance with Part II.10 of the PZW General Regulations (ZOSW).
2. The competition is held in accordance with Part II.10 of the PZW General Regulations (ZOSW).
3. Members of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) take part in the competition. Current team champions from branches and clubs have priority to compete in the District Championships. Branches and clubs within the Słupsk District are entitled to enter a maximum of two teams each. Number of places available: 23 teams. A team is defined as two competitors from a given club or association, competing under a specific name. A team may have a reserve competitor, provided they register them in accordance with the applicable procedure.
4. Entries from teams in the PZW Słupsk District will be accepted until 10 May 2021 (as evidenced by the postmark), using the applicable form (attached). The registration form must also include the details of any coach and team manager. If a coach and team manager are registered, the participation fee increases by 100 zł for each of them. 5. The entry fee of 500 zł per team must be paid by 20 May 2021 into the account of the Słupsk Regional Branch of the Polish Angling Association (ZO PZW Słupsk) at BNP PARIBAS, account number 89 1600 1462 1853 5624 4000 0001, with the reference ‘7th District Carp Championships / team name and line-up’. Confirmation of a team’s qualification to compete will be sent by email to the address provided in the registration form. Should the number of entries be fewer than 23 teams by the deadline of 10 May, the organiser will conduct an additional selection of teams from clubs that have already entered two teams each (in accordance with the principle of proportionality and the order in which entries were received). The final start list will be drawn up by 31 May 2021.

6. The total weight of groundbait and hookbait must not exceed 40 kg per team. The organiser reserves the right to check the aforementioned weights. After the competition, it is forbidden to throw any surplus groundbait into the water.
7. The competition will be held in a single 72-hour round, in a single sector.
8. It is forbidden to drive vehicles within the competition grounds without the referee’s permission. Leaving the competition grounds is permitted only with the referee’s knowledge and consent.
9. There is a complete ban on lighting fires at the fishing ground, and a quiet zone is in force. Barbecues may be used. Loud behaviour, disturbing other competitors, or taking possession of any items may result in disqualification from the competition.
10. Silence must be observed at the fishing ground, and competitors are required to keep their fishing spots clean and tidy them up after the competition.
11. The organiser accepts no liability for loss of competitors’ equipment and gear, material damage caused by participants, or for any unforeseen incidents.
12. Any further information and competition rules will be provided to competitors on site by the Organiser.
13. The composition of the Competition Judging Panel will be announced on the day the competition begins.
14. An announcement regarding prizes will be made at the start of the competition.
15. Other matters, such as titles awarded in the competition, competition organisation rules, the competition venue, equipment, lures and groundbait, fish caught, scoring, the course of the competition and disciplinary penalties, are governed by ZOSW PZW Part II.10.
16. Registration for the competition constitutes acceptance of the rules and implies consent to the processing of competitors’ photographs and personal data by the Organiser, Media Partners and Sponsors.
17. The Organiser will provide participants with lunch on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
18. Due to the ‘COVID-19’ pandemic currently affecting Poland, the competition may be cancelled; let us hope that this does not happen and that the situation in the country stabilises by the time of the competition.
19. The opening and closing ceremonies, as well as (at an earlier date) the draw for fishing positions (due to the pandemic) may take place without the competitors being present – competitors will be informed of the method of communication regarding this by 5 June 2021 on the ZO PZW Słupsk website
