ANNOUNCEMENT No. 4
43rd POLISH SENIOR FLY-FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS, 21st POLISH JUNIOR FLY-FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association, as the organiser, will hold the event from 4 – 6 October 2019, on the instructions of the PZW Central Board, the Polish Senior Fly-Fishing Championships will take place on the River Łupawa from Podkomorzyce to Damno, and from Drzeżewo to Zgojewo – the Polish Junior Fly-Fishing Championships in both team and individual classifications – on the Łupawa River, and hereby amends Notice No. 1.
The amendment concerns the sectors in which the Polish Fly Fishing Championships will take place. The competition will be held on the following section of the Łupawa River:
– 300 m upstream of the river’s fork (the start of the feeder channel to the fish-farming ponds in Podkomorzyce) to the road bridge in Damno, and 50 m downstream of the power station in Drzeżewo to the collapsed bridge in Zgojewo.
This section is excluded from the training fishing grounds. The river will be marked accordingly.
This change is due to heavy rainfall and rising water levels.
