Competition announcement for the title of
"Polish Angling Triathlon Champion"
Dolina Charlotty Resort & SPA and the Słupsk Regional Board of the Polish Angling Association are pleased to announce that on 21–22 September 2019, a friendly competition will be held for the title of “Polish Angling Triathlon Champion 2019”. The competition will consist of three disciplines: float fishing, spinning and feeder fishing. Prizes will be awarded for the individual categories and for the overall classification. In all categories, where two or more competitors have the same number of points for fish caught, the length of the largest fish will determine the higher position. In the overall classification: where sector points are equal, the total points for fish caught will be the deciding factor; if this is also the same, then the longest fish caught will be the deciding factor. The winners of each discipline will be awarded the title of ‘Charlotta Valley Champion 2019’. Before fishing begins in each discipline, the Chief Judge will remind competitors of the fishing rules. The Chief Judge for the Triathlon will be national-class judge Mr Józef Janowski.
- The deadline for registering to take part in the competition is 19 September 2019; after this date, registrations will not be accepted, as places are limited to 50 and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The competition will consist of three disciplines: float fishing, spinning
and feeder fishing. Prizes will be awarded for the individual disciplines
and for the overall classification. In each discipline, participants must fish with a single rod. - The entry fee is 180 PLN. Participants are required to pay the entry fee within 14 days of registration, but no later than 19 September 2019. Failure to do so will result in their registration being cancelled. Payment should be made to the Alior Bank SA account: 58 2490 0005 0000 4530 8109 3269. The entry fee covers: certificates, prizes, a meal for competitors, referees’ fees and other organisational costs.

- Fishing ground – the ponds in the Charlotta Valley; fish species found in the fishing ground and their minimum catch sizes, above which fish will count towards the score: grass carp (any size), sturgeon (any size), carp (30 cm), bream (any size), crucian carp (any size), pike (45 cm), zander (45 cm), perch (18 cm), roach (any size).
- Competition rules – the competition will be held as an individual event for live fish, in the following disciplines: float fishing, spinning and feeder fishing. The scoring system is as follows: in float and feeder fishing – by weight, and in spinning – by length. In the feeder discipline, the total number of points for the weight of fish caught in both sectors will count. In the spinning discipline, the total number of points for the length of fish caught in all rounds will count.

The anglers finishing in 1st to 6th place in the overall classification will receive prizes worth:
