ANNOUNCEMENT
THE 43rd POLISH SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS, THE 21st POLISH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
IN FLY FISHING
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association announces that on 4 – 6 October 2019, on the instructions of the PZW Central Board, the Polish Senior Fly-Fishing Championships will take place on the River Łupawa from Podkomorzyce to Damno, and from Drzeżewo to Zgojewo – the Polish Junior Fly-Fishing Championships in both team and individual categories,
The competition base will be located at the NIEZAPOMINAJKA Holiday Centre, Ustka, ul. Rybacka 2a, tel. 59/81-46-331
The following species will count towards the score: grayling, rainbow trout, brown trout, roach, dace and ide.
In the Polish Fly-Fishing Championships, in all categories, competitors are eligible to take part in accordance with the Polish Angling Association’s (PZW) Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport.
Competitors must hold:
- a sports licence,
- a valid medical certificate,
- a membership card with membership fees paid up for 2019.
The Championships will be held in accordance with the Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport – Regulations for Fly-Fishing Competitions – in the following sectors:
SECTOR A – from the bridge by the fish farm in Podkomorzyce to the power station in Łupawa
SECTOR B – 50 metres downstream from the power station in Łupawa to the road bridge in Łebień
SECTOR C – 50 metres downstream from the road bridge in Łebień to the road bridge in Damno
SECTOR J – 50 metres downstream from the power station in Drzeżewo to the collapsed bridge in Zgojewo.
Two-person fishing stations approximately 300 m apart
The section where the competition will take place will be closed to anglers not taking part in the competition from 4 October 2019 to 6 October 2019.
The Łupawa River, on the stretch from the bridge in Podkomorzyce to the road bridge in Damno, and from the power station in Drzeżewo to Zgojewo, will be closed to fishing for those taking part in the competition (competitors, coaches, team managers) from 23 September 2019 to 4 October 2019, is closed to fishing by persons taking part in the competition (competitors, coaches, team managers), on pain of disqualification from the competition.
COSTS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION.
Accommodation and meals – 240 PLN.
– meals from dinner on Friday to lunch on Sunday (6 meals)
– accommodation on 4 October 2019 and 5 October 2019
Competitors are responsible for paying the costs of accommodation and meals themselves.
Entry fee for seniors – 515 PLN gross (418.70 PLN net + VAT)
Entry fee for juniors – 470 PLN gross (382.11 PLN net + VAT)
The cost for an accompanying person is 200 PLN gross (162.60 PLN net + VAT)
The entry fee should be paid into the account of the Regional Board of the Polish Angling Association, Al. 3-go Maja 65A, 76-200 Słupsk, PKO SA, Słupsk branch, account number: 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901. The District does not accept payments for meals and accommodation, only the entry fee.

Registrations must be made in writing only, together with a list of team members by name (registration form attached), and should be sent to the office of the PZW Słupsk District Management Board by 20 September 2019 at the latest. by email – pzwslupsk@wp.pl. Please state your T-shirt size (S, M, L, XL, XXL, etc.) when registering
Entries received after 20 September 2019 will not be considered. If you are entering a District Champion, please attach the results sheet from the District Championships.
Training fishing grounds:
– from the road bridge in Damno to the backwater in Drzeżewo
– from the power station in Żelkowo to the bridge in Siecie
– from the fish farms in Kozin to the road bridge in Podkomorzyce
During training, you must hold a valid licence for the trout and grayling waters (mountain waters) of the Słupsk District.
