Polish Grand Prix in sea angling from a drifting boat using artificial lures for the ‘Pomorzanka Cup 2019’
ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 1
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), on behalf of the PZW Executive Board, is organising a competition from 13–15 September 2019 for the “Pomorzanka Cup 2019” (alternative dates: 4–6 October 2019). The competition will be contested in individual and team categories in accordance with the rules governing the organisation of angling. The competition counts towards the overall Polish Grand Prix (GP) points tally for 2019.
Sponsor: for catching the longest fish, Mr Dariusz Smoleń-Grat (fishing guide) has sponsored a fishing trip to Norway to a fishing base in the Lofoten Islands, worth 3,000 zł.
Venue: The Baltic Sea, departing from the port of Władysławowo.
Trip – Round 1: 14 September 2019
Trip – Round 2: 15 September 2019
The following are eligible to compete:
- The current Polish Individual Champion.
- Competitors ranked 1st–50th in last year’s Polish Grand Prix and Polish Championships.
- Other competitors ranked in last year’s Polish Grand Prix, nominated by PZW districts or clubs.
- Other competitors nominated by PZW districts or clubs.
The competition will take place on the following boats: Mistral, Nautic, Łowca. K, Irena-J
There are 74 places available. Participation in the competition is determined by the order in which entries are received.
Competitors must have:
- A valid medical certificate (or sign a health declaration).
- Proof of identity.
- A sports licence.
- A paid-up PZW membership fee.
Participation costs: Entry fee: 480 PLN. The entry fee covers two boat trips, judges’ allowances, competition office staff costs and other organisational expenses. - The names of the sector judges will be announced in Notice 2.
The organisers have booked Villa Pomorzanka in Władysławowo, ul. Szkutników 5 and 12, tel. 501 011 812, pomorzanka2@wp.pl, for the competitors. The opening ceremony, technical briefing, sector draw and closing ceremony will take place at Villa Pomorzanka. The price of accommodation at Villa Pomorzanka (per night – 108 PLN incl. VAT) includes:
