Announcement regarding the social float fishing competition
“SŁUPSK MAYOR’S CUP”
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) announces that on 5 May 2019, it is organising a friendly float fishing competition at “Staw Łabędzi” in Słupsk, entitled “THE MAYOR OF SŁUPSK CUP”. The Chief Judge of the competition will be Mr Stanisław Szymański. The competition will be held in both individual and team categories.
A maximum of two two-person teams from the PZW Branch are eligible to take part. The number of teams is limited to 15. Participation in the competition will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Entries, together with an entry fee of 50 zł per team, must be submitted by 30 April 2019 (Tuesday) at the PZW Regional Organisation office in Słupsk, or to the following account: BANK PEKAO I O SŁUPSK 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901. The entry fee covers: trophies and certificates for individual and team winners, a meal for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs.

for scoring: roach, ide, perch, crucian carp, silver bream, bream, tench, carp, rudd, bleak.
Competition rules – the competition will be held in individual
and team classifications in accordance with the fishing ground’s regulations and the ‘Regulations for Amateur Fishing’. The minimum length of the keepnet for holding caught fish is 3.5 m. A bait limit of 3 litres per session (mixed bait) applies at the fishery.
Competitors are to assemble on 5 May 2019 at 7.00 am next to the fountain by the ‘Swan Pond’ in Słupsk.

07.00 – 07.20 team registration
07.20 – 07.30 draw
07.30 – 07.40 opening of the competition
07.40 – 08.00 move to fishing spots
08.00 – 09.30 preparation for fishing
09.20 – 09.30 baiting
09.30 – 13.30 fishing
13.30 – 14.00 weighing of fish at the fishing stations
1.45 pm – 2.15 pm lunch and judging panel proceedings
14.15 Announcement of results and prize-giving for the winning teams
