FLY-FISHING COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT
BYTOWA TROUT 2019
The PZW ‘Trzy Rzeki’ Angling Club is organising a two-round fly-fishing competition on 14 April 2019 [Sunday], which counts towards the District Grand Prix and the Trzy Rzeki Club Grand Prix. The competition will take place on the River Bytowa. Competitors are to assemble in the car park next to the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Gostkowo.
COMPETITION RULES
- The competition will be held using ‘live bait’.
- Flies must be tied on barbless hooks or hooks with the barbs removed.
- Each competitor must carry a landing net and a pen.
- All species of fish not subject to species protection
or a closed season will count towards the score. - There is no daily catch limit.
- A negative scoring system applies.
- Fishing will take place in pairs – a competing angler and a judging angler.
- All details will be explained during the competitors’ briefing.
Competition area:
SECTOR A: the River Bytowa from the bridge in Przyborzyce to the second bridge in Gostkowo.
SECTOR B: the River Bytowa from the second bridge in Gostkowo to its confluence with the Cicha Woda reservoir.

06:00 – Meet-up
07:00 – 10:00 – First round of the competition
10:00 – 11:00 – Change of sectors
11:00 – 14:00 – Second round of the competition
15:00 – End of the competition, announcement of results
