ANNOUNCEMENT
‘Trout 2019’ Regional Friendly Spinning Competition
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association has entrusted the organisation of the “Trout 2019” Regional Friendly Spinning Competition to the PZW Branch in Kępice.
- Date and venue of the competition:
The Studnica and Wieprza rivers on 7 April 2019. Competitors are to assemble at the car park by the bridge over the Wieprza River in Broczyna at 06:00
Sector A – the Wieprza River between Bożanka and Broczyna, plus the Pokszywna River.
Sector B – the Wieprza River between Broczyna and Biesowiczki, plus the Studnica River - Fish caught during the competition:
- Only brown trout will count towards the score.
- Fish length is scored according to the following rule: minimum size 30 cm = 350 points + 50 points for each additional centimetre or part thereof.
- Competitors will be ranked individually and as teams.
The competition will be held using live bait.
- Each competitor must be equipped with a pen and a camera; failure to provide these will result in the caught fish not being counted towards the score.
- Competitors are responsible for their own travel to the competition venue. The organiser permits competitors to travel to the sector using their own means of transport.
- Written or telephone registrations for two-person teams will be accepted at the PZW Słupsk Regional Office by 29 March 2019 at the latest. As the competition will be held in a single round, the entry fee of 45 zł per person (90 zł per team) – covering the chief referee’s fee, stamps, a meal, trophies and certificates, as well as tax – must be paid at the PZW Słupsk Regional Branch office or into the bank account: BANK PEKAO I O SŁUPSK 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901 (reference number in the letter’s header). Please state your full name in the transfer title, with the note ‘2019 Regional Trout Spinning Competition’. Failure to register and pay the entry fee will result in exclusion from the competition.
- The organiser will provide all competitors with a hot meal, as well as trophies and certificates for the top competitors in the individual and team classifications.
Competition schedule:
06:00 – competitors’ meeting
06:00 – 06:30 – registration and allocation of sectors
06:30 – 06:40 – opening of the competition
06:40 – 07:00 – transfer to the fishing ground
07:00 – 12:30 – fishing
12:30 – 13:00 – return to base and submission of catches
13:00 – 14:00 – lunch
Approx. 14:00 – announcement of results and close of the competition
The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the competition schedule. All technical details will be provided by the Chief Judge / Tomasz Czapiewski / during the briefing.
