Announcement regarding float fishing competitions
for teachers and angling instructors
within the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW)
The District Management Board and the PZW ‘Belfer’ Branch, operating at the Pomeranian Academy in Słupsk, are organising on Saturday, 29 September 2018, a float fishing competition for fishing teachers and instructors at ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk.
We invite teams of two and individual competitors from PZW branches in Słupsk and the surrounding area. Entries, submitted by name, will be accepted at the PZW District Office in Słupsk,
65A 3 Maja Street (tel. 59-843-36-41) by 25 September this year. The entry fee
of 25 zł per competitor must be paid by bank transfer to account number BANK PEKAO I O SŁUPSK 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901 or at the PZW Regional Organisation office in Słupsk by
25 September 2018.
The competition will be held using live bait in a single 4-hour session, in accordance with the rules of the Polish Angling Association (PZW). Prizes will consist of trophies and certificates in both the individual and team categories. Please note that at ‘Staw Łabędzi’, there is a limit of 3 kg of groundbait per 4-hour session, in accordance with resolution
No. 98/2012 of the PZW Regional Organisation in Słupsk. As the number of competition pitches at ‘Swan Pond’ is limited to 30, participation in the competition will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
Competition schedule:
- Assembly and registration – 7.00–7.15 am
- Draw for fishing spots – 7.15–7.25
- Preparation for fishing – 7.25 am – 8.25 am
- Baiting with heavy groundbait – 8.25 am – 8.30 am
- Fishing – 8.30 am – 12.30 pm
- Weighing of fish and judging – 12.30 – 1.00 pm
- On-site meal – 1.00 pm – 1.30 pm
- Presentation of trophies and certificates, and conclusion of the competition – approx. 1.45 pm
