On 3 June 2018, a Children’s Day festival took place at “Staw Łabędzi” in Słupsk, organised by the Słupsk Regional Branch of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) and the Słupsk City Branch of the PZW. As well as fishing, there were target throwing and ladybird-throwing games, a quiz on environmental and fishing knowledge, gymnastics on platforms, a demonstration of fly-tying, a police dog training display and police motorbike demonstrations. All the children received badges, certificates and prizes. To round off the event, everyone – children, carers and organisers – were treated to a tasty bowl of sour rye soup.
