ORGANISATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT
INDIVIDUAL SPINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS
OF THE SŁUPSK DISTRICT OF THE POLISH ANGLING ASSOCIATION (PZW)
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) announces that on 9–10 June 2018, the District Individual Spinning Championships will take place on Lake Kościelne in Wołcza Wielka, serving as qualifiers for the Polish Individual Spinning Championships. The organisation and running of the competition have been entrusted to the PZW ‘KARAŚ’ Branch in Miastko.
- The following are eligible to compete in the Championships: last year’s District Champion, Champions and competitors from branches and clubs – members of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW).
- The competition will be held using ‘live bait’ in an individual classification, without division into age groups, in a single sector over two rounds of 6 hours each.
- The competition will be conducted in accordance with the current regulations set out in the ‘Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport within the Polish Angling Association (PZW)’.
- Competitors must enter the competition with their own boats equipped with safety equipment for two people. Please state in your registration who the boat owner is. A competitor’s declaration that they are the boat owner is tantamount to consenting to the allocation of a second competitor to their boat. Based on the competitors’ entries, the organiser will conduct a draw to allocate crews to the boats five days before the competition, and the list of the drawn crews will be published as an announcement on the website of the PZW Słupsk District. The organiser does not provide boats. Each competitor must have a fishing net with hoops and a landing net. Competitors are permitted to use their own electric motor to power their boat.

- Clubs and local fishing associations are responsible for covering the participation costs of their competitors in the district championship.
The entry fee of 100.00 PLN per competitor must be paid by 29 May 2018 at the latest to the account of PEKO SA, Słupsk Branch: 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901
PLEASE NOTE: If a registered crew or competitor fails to attend the competition, the entry fee will not be refunded.

8. Fish scoring in the competition:
Pike 50 cm – 750 points, plus 50 points for every additional cm
Perch 20 cm – 90 points, plus 20 points for every additional cm
Up to 15 fish per round, selected by the competitor, count towards the score. The competitor must mark the fish selected for scoring on their entry form and confirm this with their signature.

6.30–7.00 – competitors’ meeting, launching of boats at the PZW clubhouse on Lake Wołczyca
7.00–7.15 – competitor registration, boat inspection
7.15–7.30 – judges’ briefing
7.30–7.45 am – setting out and preparing for fishing
7.45 am–1.45 pm – duration of the first round of the competition
1.45 pm–2.00 pm – submission of scorecards
2.00–2.30 pm – lunch, judging panel deliberations
3.00 pm – announcement of the results of the first round

6.30–7.00 – competitors’ assembly, launching of boats at the PZW fishing lodge on Lake Wołczyca
7.00–7.10 – judges’ briefing
7.10–7.15 – setting out and preparing to fish
7.15–13.15 – duration of the second round of the competition
1.15 pm–1.30 pm – submission of scorecards
1.30 pm–2.00 pm – lunch, judges’ deliberations
2.00 pm – announcement of the results of the second round and the entire competition, prize-giving ceremony, close of the competition
