ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE PZW SŁUPSK DISTRICT FLOAT FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE SENIOR CATEGORY
The Management Board of the PZW Słupsk District is pleased to announce that the District Float Fishing Championships in the senior category will take place on 9–10 June 2018 in Łeba.
- Eligible to compete are: last year’s District champion, and the champions of the local fishing societies and clubs – all members of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW).
- The deadline for registering to take part in the competition is 4 June 2018; registrations will not be accepted after this date.
- The entry fee of 100 zł per competitor must be paid by 4 June 2018 at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk, or to the following account: BANK PEKAO I O SŁUPSK 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901. The entry fee covers: trophies, medals and certificates, two meals for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs. Competitors are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and other meals.
- Fishing venue – the Łeba River canal in Łeba.
- Competition rules – the competition will be held using live bait, in accordance
the ‘Regulations for Amateur Fishing’ and partly in accordance with the ‘Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport within the Polish Angling Association (PZW)’ in both individual and team classifications (teams of two). (The discrepancies relate to the inability to provide officials to conduct the unofficial practice session on Thursday and the official practice session on Friday preceding the competition). Competitors wishing to practise in the days leading up to the competition are required to pay the fishing fee for the relevant day to Mr Stanisław Klich – the licence holder for the section of the River Łeba where the competition will take place. - Meeting point – the Łeba River Canal – the clearing by the boundary of the Słowiński National Park.
