REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
FLY FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS ‘ŁUPAWA 2018’
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association is organising the District Fly Fishing Championships on 10 June 2018 [Sunday]. The organisation and running of the competition have been entrusted to the PZW “Trzy Rzeki” Branch. The entry fee for the competition is 20 zł. Please send your entries and payments to account number 261240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901 (PZW Regional Branch in Słupsk) by 7 June 2018. The competition will take place on the Łupawa River. Competitors are to assemble in the car park by the bridge in Drzeżewo.
COMPETITION RULES
- The competition will be held using ‘live bait’.
- Flies must be tied on barbless hooks or hooks with the barbs removed.
- Each competitor must carry a landing net and a pen.
- There is no daily catch limit.
- All species of fish not subject to species protection or a closed season will count towards the score.
- A negative points system applies.
- Fishing will take place in pairs: a competing angler and a judging angler.
- All details will be explained during the competitors’ briefing.
Competition area:
Sector A: The Łupawa River from 50 metres downstream of the weir at Drzeżewo to the clearing at the edge of the forest below Drzeżewo.
Sector B: The forested stretch of the Łupawa from the clearing at the edge of the forest below Drzeżewo to the ruins of the old weir above Zgojewo.

7:00 Registration of competitors
7:30 – 8:00 Opening of the competition and draw for pairs
9:00 – 12:00 Round 1 of the competition
12:00–13:30 Change of sectors
13:30–16:30 Round 2 of the competition
18:00 Bonfire, close of the competition, announcement of results
