Announcement regarding the ‘Europe Day’ friendly float fishing competition
The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) announces that on 6 May 2018 it is organising a friendly team float fishing competition called “Europe Day”at “Staw Łabędzi” in Słupsk. The Chief Referee for the competition will be Mr Stanisław Szymański.
A maximum of two two-person teams from each local branch are eligible to take part. The number of teams is limited to 15. Participation in the competition will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Entries, together with an entry fee of 50 zł per team, must be submitted by 2 May 2018 (Wednesday) at the PZW Regional Organisation office in Słupsk, or to the PEKAO Bank account in Słupsk: 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901. The entry fee covers: trophies and certificates for the winning teams, a meal for the competitors, the judges’ fees
and other organisational costs.
Fishing ground: ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk. Water depth up to 2.5 m. Fish counted towards the score: roach, ide, perch, crucian carp, silver bream, bream, tench, carp, rudd and bleak.
Competition rules – the competition will be held in a team format in accordance with the fishing ground’s regulations, the ‘Regulations for Amateur Fishing’ and the ZOSW.
The minimum length of the keepnet for holding caught fish is 3.5 m. A bait limit of 3 litres per session (prepared bait) applies at the fishery.
Competitors are to assemble on 6 May 2018 at 7.00 am next to the fountain by the “Swan Pond” in Słupsk.
COMPETITION SCHEDULE:
7.00 – 7.20 team registration
7.20 – 7.30 draw
7.30 – 7.40: opening of the competition
7.40 – 8.00: move to fishing stations
8.00 – 9.30 getting ready to fish
9.20 – 9.30 baiting
9.30 – 13.30: fishing
1.30 pm – 2.00 pm: weighing of fish at the fishing spots
1.45 pm – 2.15 pm: lunch and judging panel deliberations
14.15 – announcement of results and prize-giving for the winning teams
