Competition announcement for the title of
‘Polish Angling Triathlon Champion’
Dolina Charlotty Resort & SPA and the Management Board of the Słupsk District
in Słupsk are pleased to announce that on 9–10 September 2017,
the competition for the title of “Polish Angling Triathlon Champion 2017” will take place.
The competition will consist of three disciplines: float fishing, spinning and
casting. Prizes will be awarded for the individual categories and for the
overall classification. In the event of a tie, the Judging Panel
will take the following into account: Casting: in the event of a tie, the greater number of “10s” will be the deciding factor.
Spinning: in the event of a tie, the longest fish will be the deciding factor. In the overall classification: in the event of a tie
, the deciding factor will be points for fish length/the longest fish. The winners of the
individual disciplines will be awarded the title of ‘Charlotta Valley Champion 2017’. The judge
of the Triathlon will be national-class judge Mr Józef Janowski.
1. The deadline for registering to take part in the competition
is 7 September 2017; after this date, registrations will not be accepted,
the number of places is limited to 50, and entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. The competition will consist of three disciplines: float fishing,
spinning
and casting. Prizes will be awarded for the individual
disciplines
and in the overall classification. In the event of a tie in points,
the Judging Panel will take the following into account: Casting discipline: in the event of a tie, the higher number of
‘10’ will be decisive. Spinning: in the event of a tie, the longest
fish will be decisive. In the overall classification: in the event of a tie in sector points,
points for fish length/the longest fish.
3. The entry fee is 80 PLN. Participants are
required to pay the entry fee within 14 days of
registration, but no later than 7 September 2017. Otherwise, their
registration will be cancelled. Payment should be made to account number 10 1020 4649 0000
7102 0077 2624. The entry fee covers: trophies, certificates,
prizes, a meal for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs.
4. Fishing ground – the ponds in Dolina Charlotty; fish
found in the fishery: carp, bream, crucian carp, pike, perch, roach.
5. Competition rules – the competition will be
held in an individual classification using live bait, in the following disciplines:
float fishing and spinning. In the casting discipline, on a skish and an Arenberg target.
Scoring will be by weight for float fishing, by length for spinning, and a combined total for skish and Arenberg in the casting events.

7. Prizes:
The winners of places I–VI in the overall classification
will receive prizes worth:
1st place: 2,000 PLN
2nd place: 1,500 PLN
3rd place: 1,000 PLN
4th place: 800 PLN
5th place: 600 PLN
6th place: 400 PLN
The winners of 1st–3rd places in the individual disciplines
will receive:
1st place: 1,000 PLN
2nd place: 750 PLN
3rd place: 500 PLN
