Polish Grand Prix series
in fishing
from the shore and beach (surf casting)

ORZECHOWA 2017
The Słupsk Branch of the Polish Angling Association (PZW), on behalf of the PZW Executive Board, is organising a nationwide
shore and beach fishing competition on 16–17 September 2017 as part of the Polish Grand Prix series ‘BROACH
ORZECHOWA 2017’. The competition will be held in the individual classification over two
rounds and three sectors, in accordance with the ‘Rules for the Organisation of
of the Polish Angling Association (PZW)”. The Chief Judge
of the competition will be national-class judge Mr Józef Janowski, and the Secretary will be national-class judge Mr Jerzy Nurzyński.

Eligibility to
take part in the
competition is open to those who have paid their PZW membership fee,
and who hold proof of payment for sea fishing,
together with their identity card. PZW members holding a sports licence
and a valid medical certificate (or who sign a health declaration)
will be included in the Polish GPx points tally. During the competition (at the water’s edge), all
competitors must carry proof of a valid fee for
fishing in marine waters, together with their identity card.
Participation costs.
The competition is organised on a full-cost basis, with participants
reimbursing the organiser for all costs incurred. The full
entry fee of 150.00 PLN gross (121.95 PLN net + VAT) per person,
covers the cost of dinner on 16 September 2017, judges’ allowances,
competition office staff, and other organisational costs.
Competitors are responsible for their own accommodation and meals.

4068 2901 by 1 September 2017. All competitors are required to
provide their details on the registration form. The registration form may
be completed and submitted by the competitor themselves. To
book accommodation (40 zł per person per night in twin or triple rooms) and
meals (two lunches at 20 zł each and breakfast at 15 zł) at the O. W.
‘Lazur’ in Poddąbie, which will house the competition office, please indicate ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on the entry form. Please also indicate on the entry form the size M,
S, L, XL, XXL so that the correct sizes of commemorative T-shirts can be selected for the competitors.

Registration forms for competitors and accompanying persons, completed in accordance with the attached
template, should be sent by email to: pzwslupsk@wp.pl by 1 September 2017.
Fishing grounds
– on the day of the competition, three sectors will be selected on the following
beaches:

a section of the
beach approximately 1 km east of the beach access point behind the ‘Perła’ holiday resort
in Ustka. -
a section of the beach approximately 1 km east of the beach access point in Orzechowo.

a section of the beach approximately 1 km west of the western beach access point in Poddąbie.
-
A section of the
beach approx. 1 km east of the beach access point in Dębina. -
A section of the beach approximately 1 km west of the beach access point at the Albatros holiday resort in Rowy.
Fishing stations
will be spaced 50 m apart.
The headquarters
and competition office will be located at the ‘Lazur’ Holiday Centre in

Announcement No. 2 will be
sent to the email addresses of interested competitors (according to the
addresses provided on the entry form) and will be posted on
the websites of the Słupsk Regional Organisation of the Polish Angling Association (ZO PZW) at http://www.pzw.slupsk.pl/ and the portal http://www.surfcasting.pl/ by 4 September 2017.
