The Management Committee of the ‘Moczykij’ Angling Club in Ustka cordially
invites you on 2 July 2017 to a float fishing competition open to all, for the
the ‘Ustka Mermaid Cup’
The competition will take place at Stawek Łabędzi in Słupsk. The competition is a single-round event, using live bait, with no division into categories. Participants must
bring a keepnet and a device for releasing caught fish, and, in accordance with the fishing ground regulations, no more than 3 litres of prepared groundbait (including clay),
have a keepnet and a device for releasing caught fish, and, in accordance with the
fishing ground regulations, no more than 3 litres of prepared groundbait (including clay,
soil, etc.)
Competitors are to assemble at 0600 in Słupsk by the fountain near Swan Pond.
The winners of the competition will receive prizes and certificates, and all participants will be provided with a
hot meal.
Registration at the ‘Troć’ fishing shop in Ustka with the club’s treasurer,
Ms Jadwiga Staszkiewicz, or by calling 606-798-723 by
no later than 30 June 2017.
Places are limited to 30 people,
and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is subsidised by Ustka Town Council.
The competition will be held in accordance with the
schedule set out below and in accordance with the PZW’s Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport.

6.00 – 6.15 – registration
6.15 – 6.30 – draw for fishing spots
6.30 – 6.45 – opening of the competition
6.45 – 8.00 – preparation for the competition
7.50 – 8.00 – baiting
8.00 – 12.00 – fishing
12.00 – 12.30 – weighing of fish
12.30 – 13.00 – lunch and judging panel deliberations
