The Management Board of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) announces that on 7 May 2017 it is organising
a friendly team float fishing competition at “Staw Łabędzi” in Słupsk, under the name “Europe Day”. The Chief Judge of the competition will be Mr Stanisław Szymański.
A maximum of two two-person teams from a local fishing club or association (members of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association) are eligible to take part. The number of teams is limited to two.
A maximum of two two-person teams from a local branch or club (members of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association) are eligible to take part. The number of teams is limited to 15. Participation in the competition will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
Entries, together with an entry fee of 50 zł per team,
must be submitted by 4 May 2017 (Thursday) at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk, or
to the account at BANK PEKAO, Słupsk Branch: 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901. The
entry fee covers: trophies and certificates for the winning teams,
a meal for competitors, judges’ fees and other organisational costs.
The ‘Staw Łabędzi’ fishing ground in Słupsk. Depth up to 2.5 m. Fish
counting towards the score: roach, ide, perch, crucian carp, bream, tench, carp, rudd.
Competition rules – the competition will be held in a
team classification in accordance with the fishery regulations, the ‘Rules for the Organisation
Angling Sport within the Polish Angling Association (PZW)’ and the ‘Regulations on Amateur Fishing’.
The minimum length of the keepnet for holding caught fish is 3.5 m. At this fishery, there is a limit of 3 litres of groundbait per session (mixed groundbait).
Competitors are to assemble on 7 May 2017 at 7.00 am next to the
fountain at ‘Swan Pond’ in Słupsk.

7.00 – 7.20 team registration
7.20 – 7.30 draw
7.30 – 7.40: opening of the competition
7.40 – 8.00: move to fishing stations
8.00 – 9.30 preparation for
fishing
9.20 – 9.30 baiting
9.30 – 13.30 fishing
1.30 pm – 2.00 pm: weighing of fish at the fishing stations
1.45 pm – 2.15 pm meal and judging panel deliberations
approx. 14.15 announcement of results and
awards ceremony for the winning teams
