REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS FROM DRIFTING BOATS
WITH ARTIFICIAL LURES
- The District Championships in sea fishing
from drifting boats using artificial lures will take place in Darłowo on
22 April 2017 aboard the vessel

29 April 2017 - Fishing ground: Baltic Sea, depth up to 40 m, fish scoring in the competition: salmon 61 cm, sea trout 61 cm, cod 38 cm.
- Participants must arrange their own transport.
- Limited number of places –

stating your full name, by 2017. - Due to weather conditions,
the decision on whether to hold or postpone the competition will be made on 21 April at
1.30 pm (following the forecast for fishermen). Competition participants are asked to

PROGRAMME
5.30 am: participants to assemble at Darłówko Wschodnie by the vessel.
5.30 – 6.00 technical briefing and
draw for fishing positions and opening of the competition
6.00 – 16.00: competition; approx. 11.00: change of
fishing spots, meal
16.15 announcement of results, presentation of
cups and certificates, end of the competition.

SPECIFIC RULES:
Rigging systems (an ‘anchor’ is a hook with no more than 3
points spaced across a diameter
of no more than 30 mm; a single hook is a hook with a single point with a
gape, like that of a jig head, of no more than 20 mm. A leader is a branch line
attached to the main leader or main line, with a length not exceeding
15 cm to the point where the hook or jig head is attached. A runner is a leader
attached to the main lure:
a) the main lure (pilker) rigged in a flexible manner with a single treble hook, a single hook or a so-called ‘runner’ (with a hook gape of no more than 20 mm)
b) the lure as above, plus a single hook (jig head with a hook gape of no more than 20 mm) on a leader suspended from the main leader or main line
b) the lure as above and a single hook (jig head with a
hook gap of no more than 20 mm) on a leader suspended no further than
40 cm from the attachment point of the main lure,
c) a rig consisting of a
bare sinker and two or one (with a hook gap of no more
than 20 mm) with a single hook (jig head), where the upper
leader is attached no further than 80 cm from the point where the weight is attached,
and the lower one above the weight
Caught and killed fish of the required size are gutted by the crew. The fish are the property of the competitors. Taking undersized fish results in the competitor’s disqualification. Undersized fish must be released immediately.
The minimum size for cod is 35 cm
In the competition, fish are measured by length – 1 cm in length equals one point. Additionally, for each fish of legal size included in the scoring, the competitor receives 10 points.
