SCOPE AND RULES FOR THE APPLICATION OF DISCOUNTS AND EXEMPTIONS

IN THE 2017 MEMBERSHIP FEE

Young people under the age of 14 who are not members of the PZW may fish free of charge in PZW waters, but only within the limits of their guardian’s fishing area and daily catch limit, and in their guardian’s presence.
Young people under the age of 16 pay a union-wide membership fee, equivalent to 25 per cent of the value of the membership fee stamp, as a participant entitled to fish in their designated fishing ground. The amount of the discount on the regional membership fee for a participating member is determined by the regional boards within their respective areas of operation.
Honorary members of the PZW, in accordance with § 15(2) of the PZW Statutes, are exempt from membership fees upon presentation of a card conferring the title of honorary member.
PZW members aged 16–24 are entitled to a 50 per cent discount on their membership fee upon presentation of a valid school or student ID card.
Discounts on membership fees in respect of PZW honorary badges, as set out in the table in Appendix 1, are applied upon presentation of a card confirming the award of the badge or an entry in the membership card.
The rules governing the application of reductions and exemptions from the water protection and management fee, and the rules for issuing recreational fishing licences to persons eligible for such reductions and exemptions, are adopted by the district management boards within their respective areas of operation.
The system of concessions set out in Annex 1, points 2 and 3, applies throughout the year in which the specified age is reached.
