The District Management Board is pleased to announce that the second round of the District Senior Individual Float Fishing Championships will take place on 29 May 2016. The organisation and running of the competition
has been entrusted to the
WKKS “SŁUPIA”
1. The following are eligible to compete: last year’s District champion,
champions of Branches and Clubs – members of the Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW).
Due to the limited number of fishing stations
(up to 30), participation will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. The deadline for entries for the second round of the competition is on
25 May 2016; after this date, entries
will not be accepted.
3. The entry fee of 50 zł per competitor must be paid by
25 May 201625 May 2016 at the PZW Regional Office in Słupsk, or to the account at BANK PEKAO I O SŁUPSK 26 1240 3770 1111 0000 4068 2901. The
The entry fee covers: trophies and certificates for the second round of the competition,
a meal for competitors – lunch, judges’ fees and other organisational costs.
4. Fishing ground – ‘Staw Łabędzi’ in Słupsk. Depth of the fishing ground: 1.5 m
– 1.9 m (at the 13-metre mark); fish species present: roach, bream, perch, carp, tench,
ide, silver bream, bleak, eel, pike.
5. Competition rules – the competition will be held
in accordance with the “Fishing Ground Regulations” (up to 3 litres of prepared
bait may be used per 4-hour competition session), the “Rules for the Organisation of Sportfishing
within the Polish Angling Association (PZW)” and the “Regulations for Amateur Fishing”, in the individual
classification.
6. Meeting point – 7.00 am next to the fountain
at ‘Swan Pond’.
Timetable for the
first round of the competition:
7.00 – 7.10 registration of competitors
7.10 – 7.20 draw for fishing spots
7.20 – 7.25: opening of the competition
7.25 – 7.30 moving to fishing spots
7.30 – 9.30 preparation for fishing
9.20 – 9.30 baiting
9.30 – 13.30 fishing
1.30 pm – 2.00 pm: weighing of fish at the fishing stations
14.00 – 14.30 meal and work of the judging panel
approx. 14.30 announcement of results, prize-giving for the winners and conclusion of Round 1 of the Championships.
