ORGANISATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT
INDIVIDUAL SPINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS
OF THE SŁUPSK DISTRICT OF THE POLISH ANGLING ASSOCIATION
The Management Board of the PZW Słupsk District hereby announces that on 4–5
June 2016, on Lakes Wołczyca and Kościelne in the municipality of Miastko, the
District Spinning Championships will take place. The organisation and running of the competition have been entrusted to the PZW “KARAS” club in Miastko.
1. In the
Championships, the following are eligible to compete: last year’s District Champion, champions and
competitors from branches and clubs – members of the
Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association (PZW)
2. The competition
will be held using ‘live bait’ in an individual classification without division into
age groups, in a single sector (Lakes Wołczyca – 34.5 ha, max depth 8 m
and Kościelne – 72.5 ha, max depth 17.8 m, connected by a navigable canal, total
area of both bodies of water 107 ha) and in two rounds, each lasting 6 hours.
3. The competition
will be held in accordance with the current regulations set out in the ‘Rules for the organisation of competitive angling by the Polish Angling Association (PZW)’.
4. Competitors
must enter the competition with their own boats equipped with safety equipment. Please state in your entry form who is the boat owner.
A competitor’s declaration that they are the boat operator is tantamount to giving their consent to the allocation of a second competitor to the boat. In accordance with the ‘Rules for the Organisation of PZW Angling Sport’, Part II.2, point 5.3, the organiser, on the basis of the competitors’ entries,
, will conduct a draw to allocate crews to vessels seven days
before the competition, and the list of the drawn crews will be published as a
notice on the website of the PZW Słupsk District – www.pzw.slupsk.pl
and on the website of the PZW ‘Karaś’ branch in
Miastko – www.pzw.miastko.pl.
The organiser does not provide boats.
Each competitor must have a hoop net and a
landing net. Competitors are permitted to use their own
electric motor and oars to propel their craft. The use of internal combustion engines
. There is no limit on engine power. Craft
may travel at a maximum speed of 35 km/h. The crew of each craft must comply with
the regulations governing navigation on inland waters.
5. Entries,
stating full name, telephone number, name of the angling club or association, and the name of the boat’s owner, must be submitted by 15 May 2016 to the office of the Management Board

6. For participation in the
district championship competition, the costs of their competitors’ participation shall be covered by the
clubs and sections.
The entry fee of 120.00 zł (per competitor) must be
paid by 15 May 2016 at the latest to the account of the
PZW ‘Karaś’ in Miastko, registered office at 77-200 Miastko, ul. Grunwaldzka 1, with the following note:

7. The competition office
will be located at the fishing club’s base on Lake Wołczyca.
8. Competitors are responsible for arranging their own accommodation
and meals.

9. Fish
scored in the competition:
Ø Pike
50 cm – 750 points, plus 50 points for every additional cm
Ø Zander 50
cm – 750 points, plus 50 points for every additional cm
Ø Perch 18 cm –
50 points, plus 20 points for every additional cm
The score is based on 15 fish in each round
(30 in total) selected by the competitor. The competitor must mark the fish selected for scoring on the
entry form and confirm this with their signature.

7.00–7.15 – competitor registration, boat inspection
7.15–7.30 – judges’ briefing
7.30–8.00 – setting out and preparing to fish
8.00–14.00 – duration of the first round of the competition
2.00–2.30 pm – competitors return to shore
2.30–4.00 pm – lunch, judging panel deliberations
4.00 pm – announcement of the results of the first round
5.00 pm – barbecue and bonfire
5 June 2016 (Sunday)
6.00–7.00 – competitors’ assembly, launching of boats –
fishing lodge in Wołcza Wielka on Lake Wołczyca
7.00–7.30 – judges’ briefing
7.30–8.00 – setting out and preparing for fishing
8.00–14.00 – duration of the second round of the competition
2.00–2.30 pm – competitors return to shore
2.30–4.00 pm – lunch, judging panel deliberations
4.00 pm – announcement of the results of the second round and the entire competition,
awards ceremony for the winners
