2nd Słupsk District Championships of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) in Carp Fishing
Człuchów, Lake

1. The competition is organised by the PZW Branch in Człuchów and the Człuchów Carp Angling Club.
The competition serves as a qualifier for the Polish Carp Angling Championships – PCM 2016. The selection of the team to participate in the PCM final takes place during the competition. The competition serves as a qualifier for the Polish Carp Angling Championships –

MPwWK-PCM regulations.
2. The competition is held
using live bait in accordance with the ‘Catch and Release’ principle.
3. The competition is open to all. The number of places available is 15 teams.
4. Entries
are accepted until 10 June by email to dziemianczykrm@op.pl. Should there
there are still places available, the organiser may extend the period for accepting entries. The entry fee of 300 zł per team must be paid by
15 June 2016 to the account of the PZW Branch in Człuchów, account no. 70 1020 4665 0000 3002
0001 4506, with the reference ‘District Carp Championships’. In the event of a higher number of entries, team qualification will be determined by the order in which entries are received.
5. Each team shall fish with
four rods (two per angler). Any activities relating to
fishing at the station may only be carried out by the anglers of that team.
It is forbidden to assist other teams whilst landing fish. The judges are neutral and shall not assist any of the teams.
6. Throughout the competition,
at least one competitor from the team must remain at the fishing station at all times. If
both competitors leave the station, the rods must be removed from the water. In the
the event that one competitor needs to leave the competition area,
the other competitor shall fish with both rods during that time.
The competition area is defined as the area up to 200 metres from the lake shore.
7. Casting
rigs into the water must take place within the boundaries of one’s own fishing position. Any disputes
shall be settled by the judges.
8. Two markers may be used to mark the fishing spot.
9. Sounding, baiting,
setting markers, and hauling in fish are permitted only from the shore, from one’s own position. The use of boats, inflatable craft and remote-controlled models to deploy rigs, bait or sondes is prohibited.

11. It is prohibited to use braided line on a reel as the main line during the competition.
12. Competitors may fish
only using the hair rig method; the use of any other fishing methods is prohibited.
13. A fish being reeled in must be
landed using a landing net.
14. Until the judges arrive, the fish must be kept in a carp bag. Only one fish may be placed in each bag. Each team must be equipped with at least two bags.
15. The following fish are eligible for classification:
carp and grass carp weighing at least 2 kg.
16. Each team is required to have a carp mat.
17. If a fish swims into
another team’s fishing spot and becomes entangled in the rigs
of neighbouring teams, they have the right to lodge a protest. If the protest is upheld
by the judges, the fish caught will not be included in the classification. The judge
will uphold the protest if it is established that the fish entered a neighbour’s rig as a result of
negligence. In other cases, the judge will assess the protest based on
their knowledge and experience.
18. The team must report any fish caught
to the judges during their rounds; the judges will weigh the fish and record the result on the spot

landed the fish. The judge shall call upon at least one competitor from another team
taking part in the competition to assist with the weighing. The fish may be photographed and then
carefully released back into the water. Fish may not be kept in a bag for longer than
12 hours in the case of carp and 1 hour in the case of grass carp. If a fish is caught in poor physical condition, or if it is a grass carp, the team must immediately
ask the judge to attend. Contact with the judge will be made via the mobile phone number provided at the pre-race briefing.
19. Each team is required to have a fish wound disinfectant and to use it each time
after landing a fish in order to disinfect the wound.
20. Fish hooked before the final
signal marking the end of the competition will be recognised and included in the classification provided that they
are landed within 15 minutes of the signal ending the competition.
21. In the overall classification,
the total weight of all fish
caught by a team during the competition counts. In the event of an equal total weight of fish caught, the team that caught the larger fish will be placed higher,
and if that is also the same, the order of places will be determined by the weight of the next largest
fish.
22. It is forbidden to drive vehicles during the competition. Leaving the competition grounds may only take place with the judges’ permission.
23. On the fishing grounds, there is a complete ban on lighting fires, and a quiet zone is in force. Barbecues may be used.

any items will result in disqualification from the competition.
24. The organisers ask that you
keep quiet and tidy up your fishing spot after the competition.
25. The organiser accepts no liability for
losses to competitors’ equipment and gear, material damage caused by
participants, or any unforeseen accidents. Throughout the competition, competitors are required to maintain their

26. All other
information and competition rules will be provided to competitors on site by the
organiser.
27. The composition of the Competition
Judging Panel will be announced on the opening day of the competition.
28. Any disputed situations, following prior notification, shall be resolved by the referees, and their decision shall be final.
29. In the event of failure to comply with the competition regulations, a team may be cautioned (yellow card) and
subsequently excluded from the competition (red card), without the right to a refund of the entry fee
or any other costs incurred.
30. An announcement regarding
prizes will be made at the start of the competition.
31. Acceptance of the rules and regulations
constitutes consent to the processing of photographs taken during the competition by the
Organiser, Media Partners and Sponsors.
