ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE 39th POLISH SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
AND THE 17th POLISH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS IN FLY FISHING
(PLEASE NOTE: CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE
DUE TO THE LARGE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS)
The Słupsk District
of the Polish Angling Association (PZW) announces that from 9 to 11
October 2015, on the instructions of the PZW Executive Board, the Polish Senior Fly-Fishing Championships will take place on the River Łupawa from
the village of Łupawa to the village of Damno, and from the village of Drzeżewo to the village of Zgojewo – the Polish Junior Fly-Fishing Championships.

ATTENTION!!!! IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO BAIT FISH BY
DISTURBING THE RIVER BED.
The following species will count towards the score: grayling, rainbow trout,
brook trout, roach, dace and ide.
In the Polish Fly Fishing Championships, in all categories, competitors are eligible to take part in accordance with the PZW’s Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport.
Competitors must hold:
– a sports licence,
– a valid medical certificate.
The Championships will be held in accordance with the Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport – the Regulations for Fly-Fishing Competitions in the following sectors:
SECTOR A – from the road bridge in Podkomorzyce to the start of the meadow in Poganice;
SECTOR A – from the road bridge in Podkomorzyce to the
start of the meadow in Poganice
SECTOR B – from the start of the meadow in Poganice to the backwater in
Łebień
SECTOR C – from the railway bridge in Łebień to the road bridge in Damno.
SECTOR J – from the power station in Drzeżewo to the collapsed
bridge in Zgojewo.
Two-person stations approximately 250m apart
COSTS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION.
Accommodation and meals – 200 zł.

Entry fee for seniors – 310 zł
Entry fee for juniors – 280 zł

The cost for an accompanying person is 280 zł.
Competitors have the option of paying just the entry fee.

Entries submitted after 18 September 2015
will not be considered.
Please enclose the report from the District Championships,
a photocopy of the payment receipt and a contact telephone number with your application.
The Łupawa River, on the stretch from the road bridge in
Podkomorzyce to the road bridge in Damno, and from the power station in Drzeżewo
to the collapsed weir in Zgojewo, from 5 October 2015 to 9 October 2015, is
closed to fishing for those taking part in the competition (competitors, coaches,
team managers), on pain of disqualification from the competition.

During training, participants must hold a valid licence for the waters of the Słupsk district’s trout and grayling (mountain) region.
The section where the competition will take place will be closed
to anglers not taking part in the competition from 9 October to 11 October 2015.
